PLAYGROUND
One of the things they are hoping to provide at Roslin is a playground. There is ample room for a playground, but so far Roslin has not had the funds to build one. With approximately 80 children living at the Orphanage, this would be a most welcome addition.

VEHICLE REPAIRS
Several vehicles are used heavily at the Roslin orphanage, including the school bus, two work trucks and a water truck to supply water to the orphanage. All vehicles are older models and in need of regular maintenance. Unfortunately, one broke down several months ago, and has been dearly missed.

GENERATOR
In an effort to become financially self-sufficient, Roslin has a vision to start a banana and rice farm that will generate income for the orphanage. The goal is to plant 1000 banana trees, to add to their rice paddies, and in 2 years time, if all goes well, there will be a harvest of bananas all year long. Once there is a harvest, they plan to sell the bananas in various forms such as ready-to-eat bananas, banana chips, banana as food ingredients. Once the harvest begins, jobs will be created for local people, the orphanage will receive an income, the children will be able to participate and learn job skills.

MEDICAL CONTRIBUTION
This contribution goes into the orphanage bank to help pay for medical care, medicine and vaccinations. With a visit from the doctor or to the hospital being a rarity for children in Indonesia, this gift insures that children get the necessary vaccinations to stay healthy, as well as funds to pay for medicine if they fall ill.
